Rather than the charity having to buy the banner, try and find a business that will sponsor it, some businesses will do this in exchange for a bit of 'free' advertising. Try asking a local event or wedding planner to see if they would be willing to sponsor the cost of the banner in exchange for say their logo to appear on the banner? They may just help you with organising events too.

Theres a few stipulations to get it free..
To order your FREE charity banner you need the following:
    • The banner must be used for the purpose of the charity i.e. to promote fund raising & events for that charity only.
    • The charity must have an active website, the website must have a link to www.hfe-signs.co.uk from its home page. Please make sure this is in place before you request your free banner. The link text must be as below.
    • Only one Free banner is allowed for any one charity
    • Postage is also Free of charge to any UK mainland address.
    • This offer is only available to UK mainland customers.

theres a few others that do other things to help out small charities too.
