Claiming Credit Card insurance...confused

I've trawled through pages and pages about claiming back the PPI on my credit card, but I still don't really know what to do first. I called the company (Lloyds TSB) a couple of weeks ago, as I cannot find my original paperwork and I know that a few months after getting my credit card, I called and asked for it to be stopped, but was told it was compulsory. Anyway, when I called Lloyds a couple of weeks back and explained that I wanted my original paperwork, they said someone would call me back in 7-10 working days, but no one has called me back.

I don't really know what I need to do exactly and would appreciate some guidence as this is scaring me a bit :(

    Hiya

Chase this up with an email to the Chief executive officer (CEO) copy and also send the email to the Customer care team who may try tracking down the details, however you will have to enclose your details by email to them, but otherwise give them a ring.
    Tel Number: 08453 005599,
    antonio.osorio@lloydsbanking.com
    customer.care.insurance@lloydstsb.co.uk

You are entitled to your data at anytime, if you just require the copy of the agreement to check for PPI, you can write a simple letter, ask them to provide you a copy of the agreement (account number XXXXXXX) by 12 days, and confirm you have enclosed £1 cheque or Postal order for this request.

However, if you have the account number, and know you were sold and mis sold the PPI, don't worry about requesting for the paperwork, you can still continue to make a reclaim.

    http://www.lloydstsb.com/payment_protection_insurance_complaints.asp

Details of how to reclaim are the same as this site, the reclaim questionnaire etc, complete and send to the address shown on their website.

    Hope this helps, good luck.

If you want to make a complaint, you dont need your original paperwork.
