Water wont turn off on my electric shower

My electric shower (Triton Jade 2) has been reliable for the 3 years. However when coming out the shower today i turned the shower unit off but even though the power came off the water continued to come out:mad:. I then pulled the cord on the isolation switch but again the power was ok but water was still spraying. At the moment i've turned the water off at the isolated valve at the main water supply but inturn this stops the water, filling the toilet up when flushed.

I would appreciate any advice

Many thanks

The most likely cause is the solenoid valve, which is replaceable.
Is there a stop valve within the shower casing that you can turn off (before opening the casing you must isolate the circuit and ensure that it's dead-don't attempt this unless you know what you are doing)?
Otherwise you will need a plumber to change it.
