Door problem?!

Hi,

We recently moved into a propoerty and noticed the doors in the hall way catch a little on the door frame when closing, so I got the sandpaper out and sanded the part catching and the door shut fine. Now it is catching again a little in the same area, how is this possible after sanding or is there other explanations.

The house was vacant for couple months (i.e. no heat on, we recently moved in 2 weeks ago) and we have had heat on a few times, could this be anything to do with it?

I think that Andrew has hit on the problem i.e. hinges , more than likely the top hinge.
Heating the house would probably have no effect on the doors and if it did it would cause shrinkage.
    Forgotten but not gone.
