  • Done that and it has improved a little - I can use Roboform now to fill in forms or type them in manually and the details are staying there. I still can't type on other forums though. After a few words it all disappears. Thankfully it's not happening with this one!

    check the roboform web site to see if there is a new version , or remove it and re-install

  • I'd already tried updating Roboform and now I've uninstalled and reinstalled it but still having the same problem. Sorry to be a pain, it's just so frustrating. Thanks for all your help.

    Yes, you did it right. Going by the scan results, the comments and the information when you click the "show all" button, the file looks legit. It should be restored.
  • I just wanted to thank you both for your help. It all seems to be sorted now. Feeling very foolish, DS realised the esc button was stuck down :o That's sorted the problems with posting on forums and a few other things.

    The computer's running like a dream after all that :p
