Bank coin deposit machines - Merseyside

Hi all,

In a similiar vein to an earlier thread, I would be grateful if anyone could help me compile a list of banks, regardless of company/bank, which have coin counting / deposit facility within Merseyside.

My plan is to open a savings account to which I could pop into the branch and deposit my loose change every couple of months or so.

On the HSBC list there are branches listed in Castle Street, Liverpool and another one in Birkenhead.

Thanking you in advance

Remember most of these machines will only let you deposit into their own accounts, not those of any other banks.
  • Why be so lazy - count the change as you go along - you just need a few bank bags and a piece of paper and pen - cut the paper into small pieces write on it what denomination you have and put into said bags with change - then add new total each time you put more in - simples!

    Thanks pmduk

I am aware of that but I would open a savings account with the bank whose branch, which has a coin deposit machine, that was the most convenient for me.

    For sure:

    HSBC Lord Street Liverpool
    Barclays Lord Street
    NatWest Liverpool ONE

I'm 50/50 that these branches may have the machines too:

    NatWest Castle Street
    RBS Dale Street

Always check with the bank before opening a savings account though, because my Barclays non-card ISA doesn't permit coin deposits in their machine (I don't have any other accounts with Barclays so can't use another account either).

Thanks 7Sefton, will consider the ones stated.

Information on any other banks offering coin counting facilities in Merseyside most welcome.
