Can't find Southern Electric tariffs to compare

Help!

I am trying to compare prices for a relative but cannot find the current tariffs on any of the comparison sites. Both are Southern Electric, gas is "General Saver" and electricity is "Domestic Standard NSC - moneysavers". I've contacted one of the comparison website but no reply.

Anyone else had this problem (with Southern Electric tariffs or others)?

TIA

This can happen for a number of reasons, "accidental" by the comparison website due to the sheer number of tariffs, "accidental" by the supplier not informing the comparison websites (though that "accidental" is actually "accidental incompetence"). It can also occur because "genuinely" the tariff was never universally available.

I suggest you assume "Domestic Standard NSC" and compare on that basis. Note that personally "I cannot tell from a Consumer Focus accredited website" whether the headline cost takes into account recently announced price hikes and it definately doesn't take into account "unannounced but certain" price hikes. So be wary of the results.

If you feel like having a little "mischief" with Southern Electric, ask them to supply the Terms and Conditions for the "mystery tariffs". Supply regulations require they are provided on request. In this regard the Southern Electric complaints procedure is your friend. A complaint should be resolved by 20:00 on the working day after the complaint was registered.
