Dear All,
Has anyone had experience of re-financing their mortgage after buying through the ownhome Co-operative mortgage scheme? For instance converting to buy-to-let after paying off a significant part of the mortgage? Any advice from people actually involved in this process would be gratefully received, including overpayments, repaying the ownhome loan, renting the property, converting to buy-to-let etc.

I havn't had any experience of this Im afraid... I bought my 1 bed flat 2 years ago through ownhome. I am possibly looking to buy a bigger property with my boyfriend in a years time but not sure if I can do this with this scheme. Does anyone know if it is possible to keep the loan that pfp gave us and get a bigger mortgage in order to buy a bigger property.. Otherwise Im not sure how Im suppose to do it..
