Extremely low mileage car

I've been looking on Autotrader and noticed an 09 reg with only 1500 miles. No mention of a service history (I'd have expected an annual service last year) but I was wondering if this would be a problem.
I know low mileage can mean short journeys, engine wear etc - but on a two year old car? Will this matter?
Car is a 1.4 Corsa, timing chain not belt. I have been told that regular oil changes are essential for this model, which is why I'm asking here.

dunno tempting as its low miler. i would have to view it in the flesh, check over any documents, HPI for outstanding finance, look at service book against the miles. if its been sat for some time i'd also crank it before i actually started it to get some oil circulating to lube up what could be now dry chain tensioners start it see how it sounds and let it warm up and see if any noises disapear.0

Make sure you're not giving a significant premium on this car. Often i've seen cars like this priced at the same price of a younger model anyway.
The problem being that 3-4 years down the line, when you've done say, 48K extra miles on it, it wont be worth any more than a 'regular' car...0 -
Plenty of cars around have 2 year service intervals these days
Not sure about the corsa.
plenty under 5k miles to chose from so don't get foolled by price/mileage0 -
is it deff a low miler? or just a typing error and they missed a ) of end making it 15000, i was looking at cars other day and that had happend car said 12000 was actually 1200000

My Corsa was bought in 09 in October as a second user, when I bought in In October (it had been registered in May) i got a brilliant bargain, it had only 18 miles on the clock) over 2 years later It still has only 7K on the clock, I have it serviced every May, no problem at all, its brilliant, Its a Corsa Design, if that makes any difference.
Best car Ive had. I'd never, ever buy a new car.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0
