Hello all
Firstly - I am not at all technical, but hope I can explain clearly enough to get some advice!
Our current set up is an old video player, a new LCD flat screen TV with built in freeview and a seperate DVD player which has just died.
We want to replace the DVD player and the video player by a recordable DVD player (and get rid of the video player altogether).
If we buy a dvd recorder/hard drive recorder with built in freeview will it work with our current LCD tv that also has built in freeview? or will the fact that there are two built in freeview(s) cause a conflict?
Hope that makes sense?
Any advice on which way to go would be appreciated!

I don't really want to spend extra - but if the areial (sp?) comes in through the DVD/hard drive recorder then to the TV - would the dvd recorder be able to record freeview channels because of teh freeview box being built into the TV and the DVD/hard drive recorder being in the link before the freeview box? That sounds a RIGHT muddle - golly I hope it makes sense?0

If you buy a digital (Freeview) model you can record one freeview channel and watch another or record without the TV switched on. I think it's worth the difference.0
