What size of monitor do you use?

24" Dell Ultrasharp widescreen. When I first got it I thought it was massive - almost too big.
But it's great for editing photos and watching films. Plus my Wii is plugged into it.0 -
I've also found that best value for money at the moment comes from high resolution 4:3 (i.e. not widescreen) monitors, firstly because they are no longer in fashion (hence cheaper) and secondly because you get more usable screen area than the equivalent diagonal-size widescreen monitor.
Where could I can one of these type from? I have been looking for a monitor, between 24inch - 28inch and I know my problem really is I don't really like the widescreens either in laptops or pc monitors. I'm not going to use it for watching dvds which is what it seems they make them in widescreen for.
I always find widescreens too short on hieght, you can't see as much and have to scroll more. I've always used 17inch crt monitors with the pc but want a bigger screen and less bulk but to me its more useful to have more hieght than width in the screen. Why do they presume everyone wants widescreenThanx

I use 2x24", I do lots of router simulation/virtual machines/network labs so 2 screens makes life a lot easier.0
