Passwords in Firefox

I've just upgraded to Firefox version 5.0.1.
I used to be able to save and fill-in passwords automatically, but don't seem to be able to do that in this version, and Roboform isn't compatible anymore.
Opera has a Key icon to use to complete passwords, is there anything similar for Firefox?

Have you checked FF's security settings?
If you look in Edit, Preferences, Security you will find a checkbox marked "Remember passwords for sites" with an option to set exceptions, an option to set a master password and an option to view any passwords currently stored.0 -
Yes, I've tried that, and although there are passwords there that were remembered using the older versions, there's no way to automatically enter those passwords when necessary.Have you checked FF's security settings?

Strange - I have FF 5.0, which was upgraded from (IIRC) 3.5, and it works exactly the same as it did before, automatically asking if I want to remember username and password for new sites, and filling any already remembered.
Perhaps you have a corrupted user profile, which is preventing the feature from working properly?0 -

Is there a button to use anywhere to fill in the remembered passwords - like the key icon in opera?0 -

I've used Secure Login for years on FF.
Almost identical to Opera's Magic Wand feature.

Roboform should work fine... it does on my pc, But I do believe I had to go back to roboforms site and get the latest version...
Depending on when you purchased it - they may want you to pay for an upgrade.
But you should be fine if you are only using the free version.0
