where to put my money sort term

Today, I have sent the form to cash in my premium bonds.
My partner and I are researching where to invest the £60000
We need to put the money in an account for a short while.
Could anyone offer any Help.

Split it up into two high interest accounts. I'd recommend ICeSave for one. Others may recommend ICICI for the other, although some have problems with them.

    .
Did you win an amount equivalent to your forfeited interest?( Just curious)
Are you a higher rate tax payer?
How long is a short while?

    Hi,

Depends what you call short time.

If you have not used you and misses isa allowance use them before april and then use them again in april.

Thats £28k growing tax free to start with.

Even if you put in a income fund you still getting growth without paying tax.

And again if its only short turn why take out of premium bonds.

    I hope that helps

    Keep smiling

I have had a quick look at both icesave and icici.
I was thinking it would be wise to have interest paid daily as I only want the money there for 3 months or so. What do you think?

We won £50 this month (bad)
I do not pay tax and my partner is paying basic tax.

Isa allowance used for this year.
We have taken the money out of the premium bonds as we have not been winning that much and feel that interest in a bank would be better.

Thank you all for your answers

I have money in www.icicibank.co.uk and believe them to have the most competitive rate with savings from £1 ,interest paid monthly.I would not put all your eggs in one basket ,try icesave as well.I also like to see my money credited monthly .
