Phone card USA-UK help please!

Hi,
I'm travelling to the USA in 1 months time. I would like to take a prepaid international phone card with me just in order to make 1 quick call home when I arrive there safely.
I have always bought it from the Post Office but was told that they have now been phased out. I would buy one over there but I'm not renting a car and would much prefer to have the card there ready to call ASAP.
Does anyone know where I can buy one from?
Any help appreciated.
Thanks:D

Really? I didn't realise this.
Do you know if Orlando International Airport sell them?0 -
If you're taking a laptop with you why not find a free wifi spot in the airport and call home using skype? if they are on skype too you can make the call for free!0

I bought some T mobile PAYG USA Sims off a UK Ebay seller I Paid about £3 (they call them pre-paid & are about $10 on the US site), just slip them into an unlocked current phone (or old one like I am doing) they can be activated over the phone (to the US T Mobile) or on the internet before you go, or pop into a US T mobile shop on arrival to activate it, you can also buy them in the US T-mobile shops for around $10, calls are from 5 cents, but more to phone home, but way cheaper than using a UK sim in your phone whilst there, you can top up easily anywhere as here, they are also doing a deal for data downloads at $2 a day extra if you need it.
If you are going away with others get one each, then if you have to call each other whilst in the US it will only cost a few cents.0
