Speeding fine in Republic of Ireland
I am after some advice about a speeding fine that I picked up in Ireland recently.
I was pulled over by an unmarked police car doing 80kph in 50kph area (Some of the irish roads are a little confusing since they have changed to kph from mph)
The police officer stated that as I live in the uk with a uk licence i wont get any penaulty points but will have to pay the 80 euro fine.
Where do stand in regard to having to pay this fine? This was my first trip to Ireland and probably my last for a good few years so can they really enforce this?
