Laptop Processor Choice

Hi,
I've got a laptop in mind with Pentium M 740 (1.73Ghz) microprocessor and 512MB of RAM.
I've also seen the model up with all the same features apart from it has Core 2 Duo Processor (1.66Ghz) and 1GB of RAM.
What I'd like to know is if them two 'upgrades' are worth the £80 increase in price.
Also for £20 more than the second laptop you could get Core 2 Duo with 1.83Ghz of speed rather than 1.66Ghz. Is that worth it?
Many thanks for the help:D

Yes on all counts
The ram alone is half the price of the upgrade costs and the core 2 duo cpu consumes less power so will have better battery life.0 -
Many thanks for the reply,
I think I'll upgrade then!
Cheers again
