Raspberry help please

A fantastic friend gave me a huge box of raspberries yesterday and I stupidly put them in the fridge. They are now a little bit too soft to open freeze. I don't like smoothies with banana (I don't have any bananas any way).
What can I do with them please?

Syllabub or ice cream, or if you have the time, jam. My cook-books are in store at the moment so you'll have to google / BBC search for recipes, but basically simple.

Raspberry ice cream is simply raspberries with sugar, lemon & cream (whipping I think) frozen

Syllabub is similar but unfrozen. I suggest it as you can freeze the slightly squashy raspberries, then get them out to make the syllabub when it suits you - makes a great simple pud.

I would definitely freeze the raspberries, here are other ways to use less-than-perfect raspberries:
top a pavlova, sprinkle some blueberries or redcurrants on top & sift over icing sugar
use in a trifle instead of jam or jelly (this is my standard Xmas trifle)
liquidise, sweeten, and call it coulis
mix with apples and make a crumble

    send some to me!!!

    Rasp Jam
1lb sugar per 1lb rasps., boiled up until thick. Very simple.

I made a delicious rasp ice cream using an ice cream machine.
It was basically milk, sugar & pureed rasps. Voted a hit by all:D

As others have said pavlova, eton mess or trifle.
Add to vodka for rasp liqueur:D
