Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
I asked on the vent forum and was told its in the T&C. Really annoying though as personally I don't want to use the site again (told the item had been dispatched, then two weeks later that they didn't have stock etc etc) but I have to as they have my money.
  • thanks for sharing. maybe ill just get 2 or 3 books and see how it goes

I buy from https://www.thebookpeople.co.uk and have done for years - no problems at all, and if you spend over £25, P&P is free. They also have great warehouse sales a couple of times a year, if you live near St. Helens.

I'm a big bookpeople fan too, their kids book collections make each book really cheap, and you can collect points too :)

Is there a mailing list to find out about the warehouse sales, please?

Thanks OP just ordered 3 x £1 books free p+p fingers crossed it works out.
Am jealous of your prawn cocktail years and nigellas express been after them for years but they never seem to come down in price!
    Target - 33lbs
Progress so far- 12 1/2 (then Christmas happened)
    Now -4 :(
  • That's a shame, the links won't open to the books

think they're accidenrally linked to pages re the Op's order - just get asked to log in then an 'item monitoring'/order progress page and told "You're neither the buyer nor the seller of the article."
"And suddenly I find myself listening to a man I've never known before,
    Telling me about the sea..."
  • Looks like some of those books have either sold out at that price or the sellers realised and put the prices up.
