Going to be going there with my girlfriend next year. Want to do some of the trips (Chitchen Itza, dolphin swims, waterparks). Can anyone recomend the best place to book this sort of thing please?

The holiday rep will try and sell you a dolphin swim in isla mujeres which is just of the coast of cancun - don't book that! It's so expensive! (About $70pp plus the trip).

We booked to go to Xcaret which is a tropical park (https://www.xcaret.com) so had a full day out and when I was there I booked a dolphin swim which was about $40.

We too visited Chitchen Itza - we booked this trough the rep again - only as it's quite a long journey to get there and couldn't do it independently (didn't want to hire a taxi)

We also did a speedboat trip on the lagoon (similar one here https://www.viator.com/tours/Cancun/Jungle-Speed-Boat-Tour-from-Cancun/d631-2895CANJUNGLE) but we booked that when we were there, there was a ticket office on the lagoon.

I must add that we went to Cancun about 10 years ago so obviously things change but didn't want to just read and run!
