I'm green with envy - that would be one of the top things on my list of wins.
Don't forget things like stoneware - I've had a stone birdbath, an urn for a dark corner with poor soil so I can put bedding there to brighten it up, a stone griffin for another dark corner in my yard where nothing will grow and assorted dragons and gargoyles dotted around the place peeping out from foliage. (I don't do flirty venus type statues.) Not everyones choice but there might be something you like, and I paid for some of mine with vouchers.

Plus if you're really stuck for ideas there's always your good friends at mse......:D
Or donate some as a prize to any local causes that are important to you.

Edit - if they're the national garden vouchers, the last lot I had had about a 6 year time limit on them, so you've got plenty of time to get through them all.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

Where are the vouchers for? If it's somewhere like B&Q/Homebase you could get a massive BBQ or some of those lovely outdoor table/chairs/sofa type sets.

Gargoyles. You could start a gargoyle farm, and sell off the baby gargoyles.
What do they eat anyhow? I've only ever seen them eat rainwater.
Actually, you would be on to a winner. These are the British Isles after all, famed for its weather (or lack thereof). Maybe it could be the start of a new British export market.
  • Yes, they are National Garden Vouchers, the idea of a gargoyle farm is incredibly tempting, as I could start a captive breeding programme twinned with Notre Dame, and I am going to try and not spend it all at once, but plan everything to make my little patch look as wonderful as possible.

I am wondering, as it is a good three foot down some concrete steps from the back door to the slab patio, whether it might be a plan to raise it up and cover the horrid slabs with decking. And introduce gaps where I could put a potted tree or two. Got my eye on a Dancook 9000 firepit, too :)

This is such a lovely dilemma to have - this time last week, I was worrying when the looters were going to get to my end of town (that night, as it turned out :() and this week, well, I prefer it this way!

    Nice! :D

Don't know if you frequent the OS board, but the word on the OS street (;) ) is that the "Ozpig" is the way forward  Bit more expensive than your Dan Cook, but, someone just posted about the "Frontier Stove", similar thing but half the price :shhh: (not that price is an issue with you now you're Jojo The Wealthy ;):D

We had someone at a campsite recently with one of those. Smoked half the bloody tents on the site out with smoke all night  I was not too impressed!

I love the Frontier stove, especially where it says, designed for emergency use :rotfl:are you supposed to carry one in your back pack, just in case :D

And presumeably you need the 2 lengths of exhaust as well, so with your emergency first aid kit, that's your load then :D I can see an emergency coming up pretty quick in those circumstances!
