Help filling out FSCS Welcome PPI forms

Had a loan a couple of years ago, paid it off but have received a letter and forms from fscs about ppi. I can't remember taking the ppi option but i'm pretty sure if i did i wasn't given much info, i've tended to take it as a matter of course and don't recall anyone ever giving me the proper advice, as some of the stuff explained in the form is news to me.

I'm a little unsure about what to put for this question

How did you discover that you might have or wish to make a claim against the firm?
-- is it acceptable to say i wasn't aware till i received the form?

    Hi there

Complete to the best of your knowledge, and if what you were sold was a single front loaded ppi to the loan, this is frowned upon anyway.
Was it only recently you became aware of the ppi mis selling?
If so then write that and tell them you believe this applies to you.
(You can of course tell them if this was the case, that it was only because you received the form you checked and realised this applies to you).

    Good luck.:)

    Cheers for that,

They've gone to bit of trouble to get me the forms, changed my address since i paid the loan off so it'd be rude not to give it a shot.
