Should I sell or extend??

Hi

House been on market for over a year, 2 viewings (one didnt really wanna view but EA I think bullied them into coming). Accepted a Verbal Offer of £72.5K, but never heard back from couple - they disappeared!! House valued at £80K, outstanding mortgage £50K. So if I were to sell at accepted price, after selling/buying fees etc I would have if i remeber right £17K left. Not much tbh.

Have 2 viewers over the weekend, but cant be a**ed as I know that it'll be back to haggling war as was above offer.

After 12 mths you lose that initial push. I could extend into loft - to make 3rd bedroom that I need. Moving in with new partner he has a kid (12), my wee one (6) - and relationship between the 2 can be rocky. Also could extend approx 1.5 x 4 meter to create the bigger kitchen I need lol or should i say want - mines is tiny.

I just dont know if its worth selling as figures are quite poor. I have 16 years left of mortgage, new partner is 42 so we'd be paying mortgage right up until he retires. My head is just all over the place with it all.

I like my house, like where it is.......................any comments would be greatly appreciated. After 12 mths of pausing life I need to start getting a life

can your loft be extended? note that some lofts (hipped, small pitch etc) cannot be converted without changing the external appearance of the property (ie raising the roof up) and might not get planning per. for that reason

sounds like you dont need the kitchen - leave it

in your case i would go for a basic loft conversion basic fittings no dormer, velux windows, shop around and get it done cheap - job done

Yeah my lof can be extended, others with same house have done it. As for kitchen its tiny and tight squeeze with 2 in house, will be even tigher with 4. I may get quotes just to be nosey re prices. Suppose that way will give me a better idea of cost and if its feasible for us. Oh well better go and hide my junk for viewers this afo lol
