Boiled chicken or fish is pretty bland. Any reason you need to feed a bland diet? Some days you're the dog..... most days you're the tree!

When we recommend a plain diet for cats it's usually chicken and rice. I assume it's due to some gastic problem? If so I would add some water in to keep your cat well hydrated.

When my late cat was ill with CRF, a couple of fish fingers was often the only thing she would eat.
That is - two in the 'Micro' for a short time - trim the bread crumbs off - went down a treat. Probably gave her an extra six-nine months!I used to work for Tesco - now retired - speciality Clubcard0 -
i read somewhere that a cats taste is 90% smell, and they will eat anything if covered in a little gravy, literally plasctince. so make it smell nice and they will nom it down like a fat chick next to the wedding cake.0

The vet thinks my cat may have pancreatitis & I've read that a bland diet for a few days may help rest the pancreas.
However, she isn't eating steamed chicken even at the moment. Although she is still drinking water.0 -
buy frozen cod or coley steaks from sainsburys - microwave then mash up with fork. Havnt found a cat that wouldnt eat it. they like the smell & get really impatent while i wait for it to cool befor giving it to them. I think the anticipation helps! Also they contain quite a bit of water so maybe easier to eat than chicken. Good Luck
