My daughter got an Xbox 360 for crimbo and I've connected it to the back of our HD tv using the 5 single connectors' a pair of red/white and the red/blue/green set. We have sky into this tv and a sky tv link upstairs (watch same channel as downstairs with second remote to change channels upstairs) but when the Xbox is connected the sky cannot be changed from upstairs but can still be viewed. If I disconnect xbox and reset sky its ok again until xbox is reconnected. Any ideas? Can the xbox be connected via HDMI to the tv would this solve the problem? ......Thanks.

Its not possible to connect the xbox to the HDMI coonection on your TV as the current Xbox does not have a digital output although as you are using the RGB Component connectors you will still get a high def picture, + there is no cable adaptor for this
However the problem with the SKY i am unsureof sorry0 -

Do the xbox360 and sky link both use scart leads? If so, the xbox one will cancel out the sky one (apparently).0 -

You could connect the xbox 360 via VGA as long as you have a connection on your TV0
