help lost wireless connection on my laptop

A cry to all techies out there. I have wireless sky internet at home, no issues. Went away from home and took a 3 mobile broadband dongle that we also have and installed this on my computer. Came back today and computer does not recognise and can not find ANY wireless things, like my sky, next doors sky or my wireless printers. I don't know what I am doing. I don't have a simple wireless button, as suggested on the help menu. I have looked at the adapters thingy and they all say enabled.

I have tried uninstalling the 3, but this does not help and computer still looks for something else.

Can some lovely person tell me what to do to turn on the wireless again. I have an ASUS netbook with Windows 7.

I am going to admit how stupid I am ... the wireless was turned off, the troubleshooter told me that and I knew that because my wireless light was not on. All I needed to do was Function key and F2!! The Wireless symbol on the F2 button should have given it away - all back and happy now and a tincy bit wiser!!
