Item not delivered on specified date

Hello,
I purchased a new processor from Ebuyer and selected 'delivery within 2 working days' and paid extra for the privilege. The item was delivered 3 days later, causing me problems so should ebuyer refund me the difference in postage? I understand that it will only be a few pounds, but its better in my pocket then theirs? I also understand that it’s probably Royal Mails fault as their service to my street is usually very poor. Surely they can lodge a complaint with Royal Mail, get their refund and then refund me?
Regards
Gary

did it take two days or three days from dispatch? You need to check the terms, usually its delivery from the date of dispatch and the day of ordering is not classed as one of the two days - but you would need to specifically check ebuyers delivery terms0

When ordering it stated that the item would be delivered on Thursday, but but it was delivered on Friday.0

So you ordered Tuesday?0

Happened to me a couple of times with Ebuyer, they have always refunded my postage without any fuss when contacted.0

Yea but the OP wants royal mail to refund the full postage.
If OP wants a guaranteed service they need to pay money simple as that.0 -

No they don't. They only want the extra that they paid for the 2 working day delivery. The item was delivered 3 days later, causing me problems so should ebuyer refund me the difference in postage?well for starters

Should it really matter?
It was the retailer who stated that it would be 2 day delivery and who gave a delivery day of Thursday so they should either supply what was paid for or refund the extra paid for this service.
Whether Ebuyer then decide to chase Royal mail for a refund shouldn't be of any concern to the OP, and as most RM services only give an estimate delivery time, they probably haven't done anything wrong anyway.0 -
Where do you live and which eBuyer depot did it come from?
I seem to recall there have been some disturbances in the past week or so, which may have slightly affected the post....
Anyway, eBuyer are quite good at refunding the difference in delivery charges due to delay. Raise a ticket.British Ex-pat in British Columbia!0 -

only the OP can answer my question0 -

Yes it was a question, as was my reply.
As this is a public forum, I am as entitled as you to give my opinion, and my opinion is that the service used doesn't matter.what does it matter to you?
The OP paid for delivery by a certain date and this wasn't kept to.0
