hi guys wondering if anyone can help, I own a Peugeot Boxer Van 2007 and last night some scum bag decided to stick a screw driver in the barrell lock of the rear doors and try and break into it while it was parked outside my house.

I can still open and lock the rear doors using the key fob so is safe but just inconvient.

I phoned the Peugeot dealers and they said it would cost over £300 to replace the barrell and i would have to replace ALL locks !!!

Is this true ?? or were they trying it on ??
any help would be great

probably come as a set. It'll be cheaper to phone your local breaker and pick one up off him, although you'll have to use a separate key for the back doors.

All the locks are sold separately.

    OP

Although it might be a slight inconvenience, you could just have a separate key for the rear doors.

If you want all the doors to lock from the key fob and unlock with a single key then you may have to replace all of them (so they match effectively). But it may be that you're able to replace the rear ones and just have a different key for that lock - although it may not open with the fob. You could try phoning a different Peugoet dealer and see what they say.

There is no reason why it would not lock and unlock with the remote control.
