My friend has a Dell Laptop that he has owned for about 18months and the screen has developed a crack along the top. The crack is not visable when the laptop is switched off. It only appears when the Laptop display is On. Over the last few weeks the crack is getting bigger. He has no idea how the crack first appeared and is wondering if it can be fixed or if the display can be replaced.
His Dell warranty was only for one year and that has run out.
