Hi ,have a number of accounts showing on my experian,which i am almost positive have ppi on them, a debenhams storecard,Dorothy perkins card,and a Time retail storecard,trouble is i have no account details,have moved a couple of times and never dreamt anything like this would happen,as i have had a pre-existing illness for thirty plus years.
i downloaded a SAR from this website,included £10 cheque and my various addressess and because i have remarried my previous name and record delivered to Santander,this morning had it all returned with £10 cheque i enclosed and a compliment slip stating,a valid Santander Account Number must be provided.
Could any of you fantastic people advise me on were i go from here.
I have done the same to HSBC with a credit card i had up until 2002,when i swopped the balance to my now live creditcard i have with LTSB.
Also sent one to HFC,I am now wondering if they are going to send the same request Accoount number needed.
Any ideas where i go from here please.

You have been very busy Trish.

When it came to lloyds with mine, I SAR'd them over a year ago, and received data going back to very late 90's, I have so far been successful in making a reclaim on all loans ppi and credit card, but there were also some loans taken out in the mid 90's where I did not have all the data for this so emailed them with all my details, they then emailed back with even the account numbers of the loans taken out in the mid 90's - confirmed ppi as well, these cases are currently ongoing with reclaims.


Basically Trish, as long as you can get hold of the account numbers and you have your reasons for being mis sold, you can continue to make a reclaim.

Have you also checked bank statements for the account numbers, these are normally shown next to the monthly loan repayment, and if you bank online this may allow you to go back to about 2002.

You can also try by calling into the local bank where you paid the loan from, they may check the systems for you.
