Hot and Cold Mixer

Hi ... Does anyone know if a contraption exists whereas you can connect a device to a hot and cold mixing tap in your house, to enable you to get warm water to the outside.

I own a large dog who loves getting messy on his walks, and I would much rather give him a bath in the garden than inside the house!
Some days I wake up Grumpy ... Other days I let him lie in.

Could you bodge something out of some hose pipe and those shower adapters that fit onto the bathroom tapes. You could cut of the shower bit and connect it to the hosepipe with some plastic pipe and jubilee clips???

The dog gives a rat's whatsit if its warm or cold? Of course he doesn't. Whose benefit is this idea for? Wash him from a bucket and hose him down after.

    Cheers

  • They do a similar thing abroad, mainly I've seen it in Cyprus and Greece on beach front homes or if they have a swimming pool. They have an outdoor shower. Basically its like how we have the cold water tap outside the kitchen or bathroom (if bungalow). They just bring out both the cold water and hot piping to fit whatever mixer shower attachments.

I did once view a house where they actually had an outdoor 2 tap basin fitted, I asked why and it turned out wife got really mad when husband would wash his oilly hands when working on his bike in the kitchen sink. But I guess alot of homes with have ulitity rooms for this.

Another home had the pipework already in the garage to connect up either a sink or washine machine but was told this preiously was used as the showhome office and when sold had to go back to be a garage.
