standing charge or no standing charge?

hi whats best to get standing charge or no standing charge,
ive seen one on npower, the unit rates are 30p per day standing charge, 11.22p per kWh (day) 4.39p per kWh (night)

i,m currently with atlantic and the rates are as follows no standing charge...22.491p per kWh (day) 15.099p per kWh (day) above 900 kWh p.a 6.258p per kWh (night)

all include vat,

if you had a choice which would u go for and why?

    Whichever is cheaper based on my estimated usage.

    Just compare the two tariffs on a comp site and see which is cheaper for your annual kWh usage.
    2 minutes work, no need to grapple with unit costs at all.
    No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
