Facebook friends disappearing

When I logged onto Facebook, one of my friends wanted to add me, so I added him. I remember adding him (or him adding me) a long time ago when I first signed up for Facebook.

Why are friends disappearing from Facebook? Anybody having the same problems? Don't think hacking is the problem though....

Sounds like they removed you.

it could be that either they have removed you or they have cancelled their account.

Some time ago I went onto Facebook and it looked very busy. A closer scrutiny made me think that most if not all of the posts were put there by Facebook itself. Stuff about Farmville and so on. I have taken to filtering the home page for Status Udates Only and on some occasions there is no-one there. This leads me to the conclusion that lots of people got tired of Facebook some time ago and no-one noticed. Your friends may have left.

I seem to lose and gain everyday. Very random.

Had a friend who disappeared, so I re-added him. He asked if I'd removed him, I hadn't and told him so.

One of my mates lost loads of friends overnight - FB just wiped them out (how rude!), so it does happen.

one of my best friends disappeared off FB overnight previously also disappearing from Farmville the week before. We chat every day and neither of us have done any unusual actions, just playing the game and responding to messages...........

Something seriously wrong with FB methinks
