New Router Still Won't Connect

This is a follow up to my last posting on the 5th as I still have not had the issue resolved This month I have had 2 TT engineeres and 2 from BT, this morning BT came and ran new wires and another phone socket, then they went up the pole on my drive and found wires that were not connecting properly they were here hour & a half, ten mins after they left the connection is dropping again but much worse when the phone is in use. I rang TT again abt 11am and they said they will ring me back, no call back as yet, they also said when this is sorted out they are going to have my laptop Wireless put right as it was the bloke from the qube who messed that up.

I think I will ask them to send a gardener as well as I have spent so much time on the phone to them I don't know where the summer has gone and my garden is more like a jungle.

Has anyone else had this much trouble with TT?

This appears to be following the well-known rule that
"When everything is working well, there is no difference between ISPs. It's when you actually need customer service that you find out if your ISP is any good..."

TT do not have a high reputation for fixing problems compared with, say, Zen - which is perhaps not surprising since you might pay the former £6 a month as opposed to over £20 a month for the latter!

Ignore wireless until the problem is fixed - just connect the laptop to the router via ethernet. That rules out one variable.
