and you could put them in a little basket, along with some cookie cutters, cupcake case, sprinkles, little apron and so on - we've done that for our younger Daughter and it can get as cheap or as expensive as you like that way.

Thanks everyone. I'll get the charm bracelet for christmas now and it can go in the jewellery box.

In the end she got the jewellery box, an ant farm pod thing (she is into bugs much to mum's disgust lol) and the cookery cards as suggested by greytlove.

Unfortunatly I don't live anywhere near her so I have to post things otherwise a baking hamper would ahve been on the cards for sure. That is why I had waited to order the charm bracelet, I didn't want it to arrive too early.

Lovely ideas. I'd really recommend the charm school charm bracelets - I bought one for my 8yo god-daughter last year for Christmas and they were fab. Lots of choice for little girls and definitely a gift that can grow with her and you can add to as time passes.
