What to buy a 6 year old goddaughter for her birthday??

As the title suggests what can I buy her. I was thinking of a silver charm bracelet with a couple of charms and then I can buy her some more for xmas or other special occasions etc. Not sure if that is a bit grown up though and not really what a 6 year old would want.

Any ideas please :)

That's a great idea. My neice had one a few years ago and its perfect for my sister when people are asking her about what they can buy her as there are always charms/separators/beads etc that can be bought for it. Otherwise how about a locket with a couple of photos in or a watch if she likes wearing jewellery or even a jewellery box. You can get really nice musical ones.

Hmm could do one for B'day and one for xmas. I could pop another charm in the jewellery box too. Could be a plan, thank you.

    I've been Money Tipped!
I did this for my god daughter as a christening present. Would look at the the Pandora charm bracelets they seem more up to date and popular at the moment and you don't have to get the charms put on by a jeweller.

Hi All thanks for the replies. Alye didn't want to spend as much as a pandora bracelet on her (I'm expecting too so moneysaving is important).

I was thinking of one of these:

I really don't know the best place to get something from. I also thought that the charms for these bracelets are a bit more "children style" than the pandora?

Any suggestions would be fab. Thank you.

My six year old niece is hoping that Santa will bring her a charm bracelet so I think your idea is great. I still have and wear the bracelet I got for my 21st birthday (quite a few years ago!) and a lot of the charms are ageless. I have a pair of ballet slippers and three blind mice amongst others. Perhaps things like these or hedgehogs, unicorns and dolphins might appeal to little girls. I think the Pandora style bracelets will become dated very easily.

Actually I still have mine from when I was little. I remember going with my mum to pick my policman charm. Amazing what you remember. Think I'll go for one of those :)

HAs anyone used the sites I pasted above or knows a good place to buy similar items?

I personally like the idea of a Jewellry Box and particularly this one I found on the Amazon website £7.99 It's really pretty and girly and I'm sure any 6 year old would love it!

You could still add Jewellry gifts for Birthdays, Christmas etc.

That is lovely, really like that :) Thank you.
  • OH dear I thought I was all organised. Went to order the charm bracelet and they are on holiday until after her birthday. I could have ordered erlier but I didn't want it to arrive ages before her birthday.

I ordered her the jewellery box moonpenny suggested but wanted to get her some bits to go with it (Not nexessarily jewellery related) and the free book people delivery has expired lol.

Now stuck at what else to get. Usually spend about £15. I wanted to get her something she can do. I found a lovely cake baking thing at the book people but I hate paying postage if I don't have to (so tight now lol).

    Any new ideas please?????
