Airport security

I have just had 2 hearing aids fitted and been told not to put them through the airport scanner but by wearing them I could set off the alarm system. Has anybody else experience of this. Please advise
Thank you

Hearing aids are indeed detectable by airport security scanners, but you should have no concerns about setting off alarms or having to remove them to put through the scanner. Whoever told you this has been providing you with misinformation. You can always confirm this with the person best placed to advise you - your audiologist.

All the billions spent and thousands of staff and the stuff cant tell the difference between a hearing aid and a block of Semtex:rotfl::rotfl:well at least they have caught loads of bombers..:D not.
It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.
