Bad start for me - we went to visit my daughter for the new year and the Turbo blew up on the car - so approx £1200 that we most definatley havent got to fix it - we didn't have breakdown cover so had to pay out £194 to get AA membership - I am hoping things can only get better from here

Good for me. Have paid a huge chunk off my Virgin CC thanks to a large windfall I got in Nov. 6 months ago, I would have had an expensive holidays with it instead, or just blown it all on designer clothes, weekends away etc.
I have just phoned 5 financial institutions to get the low down on my debt - altered SOA coming. I am trying to only spend cash, then it feels like I am spending money.0 -

Keep on the road, designer clothes and other "frivolous" (god im nice to put it that way) items, dont exactly improve your life in many ways.

Good - we have started a spending diary, a grocery challenge and really looking forward to the Olympic Challenge.
Bad - looking for another house to rent and somewhere for the business to go as no hot water, and landlady won't fix, and electric due to be cut off because the landlady hasn't paid it and the electric company won't let us take over the bill unless we pay the £600 deficit.
I know this will turn around - and there is light at the end of the tunnel, just a few sticky bits on the way.First Direct Loan @ 7.9% £13,076.03/£20,250

Looked after a friends lad for two days. He was absolutely no trouble, and kept my two amused. Friend just gave me an envelope containing £60 to say thank you :TIs it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:
