I am getting a new computer and monitor from two seperate places, the graphics card and monitor both have hdmi, does this mean I can connect them with a hdmi cable or are they just for connecting to a tv?
TIA Louise

Yes you can use a HDMI cable. Don't pay good money for 1 as cheap'un will work just as well0

You can certainly connect them both using an HDMI cable, but it's unlikely that one will be supplied with either the PC or monitor. You will probably get a VGA and possibly DVI cable with the monitor.0
