Anyone been???
I read the reviews on tripadvisor before I booked and I've taken them with a pinch of salt, but to be honest i'm getting a bit worried now!!
This is only a cheapy holiday (as our main hol is in Oct) so I'm not expecting anything impressive.
Many thanks in advance.....

In Albir just outside of Benidorm.0 -
Been before ,2004 i think
Very basic but clean ,entertainment was good (i knew the bloke that run it) not sure what its like now though
You are only a short bus ride from Benidorm for nightlife as there isnt any in Albir itself
Albir is a very nice clean place with no high rise buildings at all .beach isnt much cop though as its shingleHave a nice day

Not stayed there, but know of others who have stayed and they thought it was OK.
I've been to Albir on the bus from Benidorm and believe the bus actually went right to the Albir Gardens Hotel.
Depends on what you want really, I would rather be in Benidorm, though others would prefer Albir.
Enjoy it, it's a holiday - better than the rain here. lol

Yep agree Lynsey ,Albir is great for long summer nights sat outside at street restaurants / bars etc but for out an out entertainment you cannot beat Benidorm ,in fact just booked 4 days end of October this year
Just to add the bus stop is right outside Albir Gardens (number 10 bus which goes from Benidorm to Altea for something like 1.20 Euro)
There is also a supermarket right opposite and a one just down the road ..oh and if on a budget there is a Lidl`sHave a nice day

Thanks guys! We're planning a few trips into benidorm so the bus info will be useful. Tbh we booked this one cos it was cheap and only a couple hundred more than the original holiday in Cornwall we were planning!! Just with almost guaranteed sunshine instead of the gamble of a British summer!!!!0

You should enjoy it , as i have said Albir is a very nice place ,very clean and friendly and nice to walk round but no nightlife to speak of
If you can have a walk down to the front and go in a Bar called Olas ,you can sit overlooking the sea and its stunning at sunset
Any more info you need just askHave a nice day
