Amazon Warehouse

Not sure if this is the best place to post this but I couldnt see anywhere else suitable.

Has anyone bought anything off Amazon Warehouse? I see they sell goods that have been returned to them, which have apparently been checked, reboxed and resold at a lower price. I have seen a cracking tv on sale there but am dubious about getting it from them, and wondering what reason it was returned for in the first place IYKWIM.

Any opinions of previoulsy buying from them greatly appreciated.

OK Neverindebt & Bargain galore, as I stated in the opening sentence I wasnt too sure where to post this, can you advise what is the best board to post this on so to cause the minimum of inconvenience. I may have been here for 3 years but as you will also notice I do post quite seldom so I apologise for not keeping to topic, I now know for future reference that this board is solely for deals.

i've bought quite a few items from them. no problems at all.

i tend to go for the electrical items as they're heavily discounted.

just read the descriptions - e.g. minor cosmetic damage = hardly noticeable. some items may be discounted because they don't have the manual...but these documents are readily available on the internet. some may not have the original boxes, but amazon pack them up again properly. in my opinion, these are not major problems.

plus you've got a 30-day no quibble refund promise and 3 month guarantee on all purchases.

    can't go wrong really.

    :)

    Hi!
I have used Amazon warehouse deals and not had any problems at all.
Supposedly returns but all the ones I have had have been immaculate and nothing missing/marked at all.
You get the same Amazon guarantee and returns so if you see something at a good price, go for it. Not always good prices though - worth checking first as sometimes is cheaper new!!!!
    That's Amazon for you!

I bought the kindle from them and it is brilliant, you really would not have known it had ever even been out of the box. Arrived quickly, as usual, and a good saving at £80 for the basic wi-fi one (£111 new from amazon)
