Goldfish Credit Card

Good evening all :)

I had a Goldfish CC back in 2004, was cleared in May 2006, I recall having PPI on the card as I discovered it late, which is why I closed the account.
Problem is I have no paperwork for it, so no account numbers etc, although do know the start date, settled date and address at time of application from my credit report.
With it being just over 6 years, I'm sure I will be told they no longer have record of my agreement, plus I understand Goldfish were sold to Barclaycard too.

Is there anything I can do?

    Hi

There is no harm in contacting them with the details you do have - to try tracking down the account number details.
I note you said it was cleared in 2006, in this case they should still at least hold the account number then because it was still active within the last 6 years.;) (Five years ago you settled).:)

  • My maths are not great tonight! You are right, they should still have details!

I will try writing to them :)

    Thanks Di
