I'm looking at switching to fixed tariff dual fuel suppliers from my EON Energy Online tariff but can't find any details anywhere with regards to rebates if you are significantly under using
Does anyone know if any companies give rebates on their fixed tariffs for low usage?
Thanks

Why not just go on save online 9 with Eon, the only fixed rates worth going on now are edf fixed saver 2 or edf fixed price march 2014, but both dearer than save online 9, and unlikely any further increases in the coming 12 months min.0

See the other threads re EON SOL 9 - It CANNOT be sustained as it will end up being SO MUCH cheaper than anything else after EDF increase prices.:(0 -
Sorry - have been a bit stupid - realised the rebate I've been getting is due to estimated usage and when they've taken a reading it was a lot under predicted after having new windows fitted. I've gone with EDF fixed until Sept 2012 as moving house next summer anyway0

brewerdave - once you're on the tariff, unless there is an increase or decrease by the company in costs (this tariff is NOT affected by 13-9-11 increase), Eon (and for that fact any other provider) would have to have an exceptionally good reason to withdraw, or alter terms of tariff (as mentioned if not due to some company wide change in pricing). What will happen with Save Online 9 is that it will be avaiable for a finite period, much like Web Saver 11 from BG earlier in the year. As we all are aware exceptionally unlikely any further hikes in cost in the coming 12months, with wholesale costs decreasing from a PR standpoint the big six would find it v hard to justify to the public. Expect a smalll decrease spring 2012, a la autumn 2008/spring 2009 same thing happened then, great big incr, modest decrease.0

Airmike23, think you are missing my point - SOL v9 is currently SO MUCH cheaper than all the alternatives from any of the other suppliers who have increased tariffs that it stands out like a sore thumb!
The guarantee on this variable tariff is 2% below standard but in my region it is ~ 15% below standard - as a business model that is a nonsense!!0
