help conecting 3DS to wi-fi hotspot

can anyone advise?? we are on holiday, son has his 3DS and I am trying to register before 11.59 tonight for him to get the free games. everytime I try to connect it says it needs system update so I try to connect to the free wi-fi and it won't connect because, it says, you have to accept t&cs which Nintendo doesn't like?? Any other way I can do this b4 midnight anyone?

what do you mean when you say: "You have to accept t&cs which Nintendo doesn't like"
Do you mean you can't see how to accept the T&C?

Sometimes you have to scroll to the very bottom of the T&C's for the Accept button to become active
Or check for a tick box saying something like "I've read the T&C's".

no, sorry, you have to accept the t&c's of the wi-fi firewall which Nintendo does say it can't work with.
we can't go on the internet without doing the system update & we can't do the update because of the firewall :-(
