How important is a garden to you? It doesn't have much if one. Is that something your happy to compromise?

I would say that £220k or thereabouts would be nearer the mark for that road. It's a very nice house isn't it, quite deceiving from the outside.

I think it looks great but agree the garden would be a compromise too far for me..

Actually the garden was bigger than it seemed in the pics as we viewed it last week.

This was up for £270k with an accepted price of £248k but after 7 months of chains etc the bottom chain fell through so owners as a little dissapointed ot say the least!

Also, they have now split up and have bought a place each thus paying 3 mortgages between them.

Also, bought for £258k in 2001.

Any comments?

Could someone shed some light on this?

It seems as though from 'sold' to 'available' on two occasions it has happened fairly quickly so do you just think buyer pulled out or was refused a mortgage for example?

It is a very deceiving house - the kitchen diner is lovely. You don't have to offer the asking price - they sound pretty desperate now and might accept a lower offer if you are in a good position and chain free.

It does look like we're in a decent position but have to sell our flat first which only went onto the market yesterday!

For all those that have had a look what do you think a reasonable offer could be??

just a small thought - could it be that the loft area doesn't have planning permission or something if accessed via a pull down ladder? flagged up in survey as an issue perhaps?

It's certainly an idea.

Strange that it has been 'sold' and then back on the market pretty quickly twice now.
