Makita LXT LithIon drill

Have been looking at a Makita LXT LithIon 18V drill.

Are they any good?.

I don't own that specific drill, but I've got both Makita power tools and Li-Ion drills (Bosch). They are very good - very high power for the weight, and batteries seem to be holding up well (all my packs are around 2 years old now).

    I guess you'll be paying about £150?

Roughly that. I have a nice Ryobi 18V, but they use Ni-Cad packs which discharge when stored.
