Savings account for direct debits?

Options
I am moving in with a couple of friends and we need to set up a system for paying bills.

I don't really want to link ourselves financially via a current account.... would opening a joint savings account..

such as this YBS account:

http://www.ybs.co.uk/savings/easy_access/cash_transactor.html

that facilties direct debits, show up on a credit report?

No savings account dont show up on credit reports at all as there not credit products, the only trace they will have is an id check which is only viewable by yourself.
