Nintendo 3DS Price Cut - GAME putting up DSI prices

You all probably know about the Nintendo 3DS price cut announced for tomorrow, Friday 12 August 2011?
I was in GAME store today discussing a possible trade in deal for a DSI XL (sorry I've zero interest in 3D games) from my DSI Lite. The instore price for DSI XL is £139.99 (any colour) I said I might return tomorrow because it could be cheaper with the 3DS taking a huge price cut. The assistant showed me the sticker they will be putting up tomorrow in GAME windows for DSI XL £145.99. Cheeky or what! They obviously want to push the 3DS.
Anyway, my local Sainsburys is selling Red Wine & Chocolate DSI XL for £129.99 with my Nectar points balance that's a good discount on the product I want. Obviously it might be cheaper elsewhere and of course if yer after a 3DS the world's yer oyster tomorrow!!!

Former MSE user - I don't post on MSE anymore, or respond to PMs. I would like to be able to officially set profile to "former user" which would be helpful as it seems you can never leave MSE - just choose not to use it!

For people saying "I have no interest in 3D games" : You realise the 3D is optional (you can switch it off), and that the 3DS also plays DS games?0

Then you might as well have the XL with the bigger screen :-)Mortgage Free as of 31/5/11 :j:j:j:j:j:j:j0

I agree bigger screen gets my vote every time!! DS games on 3DS are at roughly same size as ordinary DSI. Tho I do get the point about switching 3D effect off.
The choice is yours but I really suggest camping out at Tesco if you want the 3DS tomorrow.Former MSE user - I don't post on MSE anymore, or respond to PMs. I would like to be able to officially set profile to "former user" which would be helpful as it seems you can never leave MSE - just choose not to use it!0
