    pea soup is very yummy!! (originally derved from Gillian McKeith's pea and mint soup) i dont like mint so i use pepper instead to spice it up. Peas, bit of onion and some water in a pan, boil til peas and onion are soft, blend and add as much ground black pepper as you like. deelish!!!!

    If you add some potatoes to it the soup will be a little thicker. I also add garlic. Lovely stuff. You can also do pea and lettuce soup - just use the common round lettuce, peas, onion, potato and water/stock.

    Season to taste and if wanted add a swirl of creme fraiche or sour cream to serve.

    My fav soup of the moment is.........Carrot .... just add carrots, salt & pepper to your stock. Simple but yummy.
