Split with partner who owns our house

Hi, i'm lookng for some advice if anyone out there can help me?

Myself and my partenr bought a house together 6 months ago. Due to a porr crdit history I was not placed on the mortgage application but paid half the deposit for the house (£16000 paid each) and since then have paid half the mortgage/bills. When we bought the house we had a deeds of trust document drawn up to state that i owned half the house but we didnt ever get around to signing it as my partner was is in the navy and was deployed unexpectedly. We have recently split up and though he is saying he is happy to sign the deeds of trust and that i can stay in the house as he has no intension of selling at present I am worried about my future. our intentions now are for me to tkae over all the payment of household bills but we would continue to pay half of the mortgage each.

once the deeds of trust have been signed could he sell the house without my permission? i am worried in a few years he mat change his ind and wish to sell but am unsure if he could do this without my permission once deeds of trust are signed. also what happens when he has to renew the mortage in a few years? does he just do that without any input from me as i will not be able to go onto any future mortages for a number of years?

any information/advice would be appreciated

Many thanks
