Flying with hand luggage

Someone told me there were tips available on this site to max your luggage allowance (I think it's things like put your socks and knickers in your shoes).

I'm going with EasyJet and believe I'm allowed 10kg total.

Does anyone know where I can find these 'tips'?

I can't see how the way in which you arrange your items in your suitcase will affect the weight..?:D

Ah, but I think the OP is planning on putting their pants and socks in their shoes rather than their case! :D

As well as their feet?! Will it not be somewhat of a false economy, once you factor in the cost of new shoes that are 5 sizes too big?:D

I think easyjet don't care about the weight of the hand luggage as long as its the right dimensions and you can lift it into the overhead lockers

There is no weight restriction for hand luggage on easyjet flights - only the dimensions matter.
You can't have everything.........where would you put it?

It's not all about size you know, it's as much about technique ;)

OP there's an MSE thread here. However if you click on forum search and put "hand baggage tips", loads of threads will come up.

Bronnie, thanks. That's exactly what I was looking for - how to make the most of your hand luggage allowance.
